The SASET Goal is to create quality training and access to employment opportunities for Indigenous persons residing in our service area through a process of identifying client need and addressing those needs through effective program delivery.
Sto:lo Aboriginal Skills & Employment Training (SASET) provides employment services to under/un-employed Indigenous people who reside in our catchment area which extends from Katzie/Langley to Boston Bar and the three communities of Samahquam, Skatin and Xa’xtsa, part of the Lower Stlatl'imx Tribal Council, regardless of origin in Canada.
The SASET Employment Counselors who assist in delivery of employment services at Employment Assistance Services, will assist individuals with skills assessments and development. Skills Development funding is geared towards providing financial assistance for people in need of specific training to further their career goals to retain sustainable employment.
